2005 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Appeared in all 12 games… recorded 10 total tackles on the season with three solo stops and seven assists… had one tackle for a loss of 12 yards which came on a quarterback sack against Savannah State in the regular season finale… registered two tackles in games at Gardner-Webb and at home versus Florida A&M and Savannah State.

2004 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Saw action in 11 games for the Pirates in his first season with the program … Worked his way into the starting rotation in five contests … Collected 20 tackles for the season, six of which were solo performances … Drew in four tackles for loss … Also tallied two quarterback sacks on the year … Recovered two fumbles … Completed three quarterback hurries with great defensive pressure … Posted, undoubtedly, the best performance of the year against Western Illinois with five tackles (three assisted) and two quarterback sacks for a loss of 17 yards … Drew in one fumble recovery in that contest … Collected three tackles (two solo) in the season-opener against Jackson State … Also closed in with two quarterback hurries in that same contest … Had to tackles in games against Howard, Delaware State, Gardner-Webb, South Carolina State and North Carolina A&T.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL
Registered 93 tackles as a senior, 11 of which came for loss … Those numbers included seven quarterback sacks and two forced fumbles … All-Conference selection in 2000 and 2001 … During his junior campaign, Abrams amassed 70 tackles, including four behind the line of scrimmage … A Gridiron Great Regional standout … Named the team’s Most Improved Player in 1999 … Three-year letterwinner at Cleveland Heights.

Born on July 24, 1984 … He is the son of James Phylise Abrams … Currently working towards a degree in Graphic Design … His brother, Kelton Dunnican, played at Clemson from 1994-97 … His cousin, Grady Jackson, currently plays with the Green Bay Packers of the NFL.
