Biography

2005 • JUNIOR SEASON
Started all 12 games at free safety… finished fifth on the team in tackles with 50, including 27 solo stops… recorded a career-high 10 tackles (8 solo), had one tackle for loss, and forced a fumble in Hampton’s win over Florida A&M… came up with a crucial fourth quarter interception at Bethune-Cookman, leading to a Pirate touchdown and helping them secure the MEAC championship… registered his first career sack against the Aggies of North Carolina A&T… had seven stops versus #19 South Carolina State and nine against rival Howard in Washington, D.C… finished the year with 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception a forced fumble and two pass breakups.

2004 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Recorded playing time in seven games for HU, including starting jobs against Morgan State and Bethune-Cookman … Punched in 21 tackles on the year … Recorded 11 solo stops on the year … Pulled in season-high tackles of five (three solo) in contests at Delaware State and against Bethune-Cookman … Also tallied a half-tackle for loss in that same game against Bethune-Cookman on Homecoming for the Pirates … Posted four tackles (three assists) in the “Battle of the Bay” against Norfolk State … Registered two pass breakups during the year, including one against North Carolina A&T.

2003 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in all 11 games for the Pirates as a freshman … Became a major contributor on special teams, began to see limited action in the defensive secondary as the season progressed … His 28 tackles were the second most amongst Pirate freshman … Punched in 17 solo tackles out of his 28 recorded on the season … Had a season-high eight tackles (six solo) in a Homecoming win over South Carolina State … Registered two pass breakups … Recorded four tackles and a forced fumble against Morgan State in the annual New York Urban League Classic.
