NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 24, 2026) … A Nylah Jennings goal off a feed from Annalei Donath just a minute before halftime provided the lone Hampton tally on a windy Thursday afternoon as they fell 4-1 to Drexel in a CAA contest at Powhatan Field.

Donath corralled a loose ball deep in the attacking end and found Jennings who put one past the diving reach of Gracie Sullivan in goal to put Hampton (1-7-1, 0-2-0) on the board trailing 2-1 with one minute left in the opening half.

Drexel (5-4-1, 1-1-0) got on the board in the first half with a pair of goals in a 77-second span as Riley Lukach found the back of the net at 10:36 and Liv Brocious converted a penalty kick at 11:53.

In the second half, Cam Schuler pushed the lead to 3-1 off a feed from Nia Chinapoo at 53:04 and then Lukach connected with Alex Rivera at 75:51 for the 4-1 advantage. On the game, Drexel held a 19-8 advantage in shots. Arianna Myers made seven saves in goal for Hampton, while Jackie Jenkins added two.

Hampton is back in action on Sunday hosting Towson at 1 p.m. at Powhatan Field.
