PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (April 5, 2025) … The Hampton University men's lacrosse team fell to Drexel on Saturday afternoon 17-1 in a Coastal Athletic Association matchup at Vidas Field.
Canyon Steverson provided the lone tally on the day for Hampton (0-12, 0-4) as he was on the receiving end of an
AJ Knox feed 34 seconds into the fourth period to make the score 13-1.
Steverson now has seven goals on the season to trail
Reed Shaw with nine and Knox's 10 on the team list.
Mamadou Meite had four shots and two ground balls to lead the Pirates. Amare Ford had a team-best three ground balls, while Steverson added three shots and one ground ball.
Five different Dragons had two goals each as 12 players found the net for Drexel (5-6, 2-2).
Hampton is back on the road on April 12 visiting Towson for a noon start.
