Sebastian West had one goal and one assist, while
Jadon Meyers and
Reed Shaw added goals as Hampton fell 25-3 to Towson in a Coastal Athletic Association matchup inside Johnny Unitas Stadium on Saturday.
League-leading Towson (7-7, 5-0) scored the first 10 goals before West tallied an unassisted goal with 7:44 left in the first half as Hampton trailed 10-1. West recorded his assist on Hampton's next goal as he connected with Meyers almost two minutes into the third period to cut the deficit to 14-2.
Hampton (0-13, 0-5) opened the fourth period with its final goal as Shaw was on the receiving end of an
Elijah Jean-Jacques feed to make the score 22-3 with 13:06 left in the game.
Matt Burnam topped Towson with six goals, while Michael Katz added four and Bode Maurer had three with a team-high three assists on the game.
West is now fifth on the single-season assist list with 11 and is two away from tying
Ellison Burt-Murray for fourth with 13. Goalkeeper
Ben Kieu recorded 17 saves and has 169 on the year, placing him eight away from tying the single-season record held by Paxtin Powell in 2022 with 177.
Hampton is home for Senior Day on April 19 hosting Hofstra at 11 a.m. inside Armstrong Stadium.
