Hampton University Athletics

 
A 2020 graduate of Hampton University, Kevin Mondy, Jr. joins the coaching staff in the fall of 2021. He is primarily responsible for working with the faceoff men, goalies, and coordinating the team’s scouting reports.
 
Kevin played four years for the pirates for as a goalie and was a key contributor in the early years of the program’s transition from club to NCAA status.  Mondy, Jr. was a three year starter and holds the school record for saves in a game (18). Kevin graduated with a bachelor of science in cyber security, and was drafted twenty-third in the National Lacrosse Association (NLA Pro) by the Marauders LC.
 
Before attending Hampton Kevin played at Hillcrest High school in Dallas, TX, earning All State honors as both a junior and senior. He is the son of Kevin Mondy, Sr. and Wylaia Mondy. Kevin has one younger sister Kimaari Mondy, who is committed to playing lacrosse at Delaware State.
