Ryan Hitchens joined Coach Ivan Thomas’s staff this summer in the Video Coordinator role. The Omaha, Neb. native, spent the previous two seasons with Horizon League member Cleveland State. During his tenure with the Vikings, the program recorded consecutive 20-plus win seasons. This past season, Cleveland State finished second in its conference. The Vikings fell in the semi-final round of the Horizon League Tournament.
Before joining the ranks at Cleveland State, Hitchens was a student manager for the Ohio women’s basketball team. He spent five seasons with the program.
