HAMPTON, Va. (Nov. 1, 2025) … The Hampton University women's soccer season became one for the record books as several school marks were set in a season that saw the Pirates win five matches for the first time in program history.
 

• Hampton scored 26 goals on the season which is second most in program history. Only the 2017 team has scored more with 28 goals.
• The two goals against Elon tied for the most in a conference contest in program history equaling a 2019 contest against High Point.
• The Pirates finished the year with 67 points scored which is a school record topping the 63 in 2017.
• Avery John finished with a goals against average of 2.07 to rank second in single-season history. She also has 83 saves which is fourth most in a season in program history.
• Head Coach Scot Vorwold earned the 100^th win of his coaching career on August 30, 2025 with a 3-0 win over Bluefield State.
• Six days later he became the all-time winningest coach in school history in a 6-0 win over Lincoln (Pa.). It's believed that he is in a small group of coaches across the country as the all-time winningest coach at two different schools.
