LAST MEETING
Delaware and Hampton faced off last season on March 30, 2024 in Hampton and the Blue Hens scored a 21-3 victory. Matt Hunter, Jonathan Angel and Mamadou Meite all had goals for the Pirates. This will be the third ever meeting with Delaware winning the first one in 2023 by a 19-1 count.

ABOUT HAMPTON
Hampton enters this game after a 15-8 loss to Queens (N.C.) on Tuesday at home as AJ Knox and Sebastian West scored two goals each. On the game, Hampton recorded a season high 28 ground balls with Zion Garcia and Christian Stringer leading the way with four apiece. The eight goals were the second most in a game for Hampton this year only trailing the nine scored in a 13-9 loss to Iona in February.

Sebastian West leads the team with four goals and nine assists for 13 points. His nine assists currently are tied for sixth on the all-time single season list. Knox has a team best 10 goals and one assist for 11 points. His 10 goals are approaching the all-time single season top 10 list as he's three away from tying Kendall Sapp (2019) and Jordan Brown (2019) for that spot.

The Pirates have scored two man down goals this season which is tops in the Coastal Athletic Association. Hampton's man down defense is ranked 29th nationally stopping opponents 64.1% of the time.
