Women's Basketball Heads To Stony Brook For Friday Afternoon Matchup

HAMPTON, Va. (February 13, 2025) … The Hampton University women's basketball team start a two-game road trip on Friday afternoon with a noon tip against Stony Brook at Island Federal Credit Union Arena.
On Sunday, Hampton will tangle with Monmouth at 2 p.m. in West Long Branch, N.J.

LAST TIME VS. STONY BROOK
Hampton dropped a 71-35 decision to then league-leading Stony Brook on March 7, 2024, at the Convocation Center. Le'Asia Foreman had seven points and four rebounds, while Aisha Dabo had a team-high eight rebounds that night.

SERIES VS. STONY BROOK
This will be the fourth meeting between the teams as Stony Brook holds a 3-0 advantage. The last time the teams played at Stony Brook, the Seawolves took a 70-63 decision on February 24, 2023.
These teams played in the consolation game of a tournament at Georgia State on Dec. 8, 2001, as Stony Brook won 81-65 in the first-ever meeting.

Jasha Clinton leads Hampton in scoring as she averages 14.4 points per game and 2.1 steals per contest. Jenae Dublin is next at 7.6 points and a team-high 5.2 rebounds per game. Dabo is just behind at 7.5 points per game and CeCe Thomas is at 7.4 points per game.
