So Far This Season
Â
Hampton is coming off of a 21-3 loss at home to the Delaware Blue Hens this past Saturday. Defenseman
Matt Hunter got some action on the offensive end as he scored his first goal of the season and second of his career. Senior
Jonathan Angel cashed in on an assist from defenseman
Dillon Bethea giving Angel his first goal of the season as well. Midfielder
Mamadou Meite also found the back of the net to bring his season total to seven. Defenseman
Dillon Bethea continued his sophomore campaign and led the team with three ground balls along with freshman
Braeden Lessane going 5-6 in face-offs on the day.

Scouting the Monmouth Hawks
Â
Brian Fisher is in his 11th season as head coach of the Hawks. He is the first-ever head coach in the history of Monmouth lacrosse and he helped guide the team into their first Division I season in 2014. The Hawks are coming off of a 7-8 loss at Hofstra last Saturday.
Â
Monmouth comes into the matchup with a stout defender in goal. The Hawks rank 3rd in the conference in goals against average at 9.54. Much of this is credited to goalkeeper Tommy Heller who ranks first in the CAA and 12th in the country in saves per game, averaging 12.78 a contest. He also ranks 21st in the country in save percentage on the year (.537). Face-off specialist Ethan Cronk sits seventh in the conference in face-off percentage (.500).
