HAMPTON, Va. – Morgan Hutchison and Carolay Ospina each scored a goal as Presbyterian College defeated Hampton 2-0 in Big South Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
Anna Stouffer earn an assist on the first goal as she found Hutchison who hit a chip shot over the goalie at the 52-minute mark to put the Blue Hose up 1-0. Opsina would sink her shot off a rebound at the 83-minute mark to give Presbyterian a 2-0 lead and seal the game.
Presbyterian outshot Hampton 16-13 and was ahead in corner kicks 4-3. SeniorÂ
Maya Andrews recorded six saves for Hampton.Â
Hampton returns home for another Big South contest as they take on Charleston Southern University Oct 23 at 2 pm.
