SPARKILL, NY – Kendall Sapp and Darrel Kidd scored two goals apiece for Hampton on Saturday as they fell 13-7 at St. Thomas Aquinas.

After giving up the first goal with 6:12 left in the opening period, Hampton scored twice in just under 90 seconds as Jacob Woodard scored with 4:51 left and Leo Jackson, III added one off a feed from Jacob Woodard at the 3:28 mark to put Hampton up 2-1 after one.

Kidd tallied his first one with 10:44 left in the second quarter to keep Hampton in front 3-2, but then the Spartans scored four of the last five goals of the half.  Only Sapp's first tally of the game kept Hampton in range as they trailed 6-4 at the half.

Sapp and Lemuel Randolph scored the first two goals of the third period for Hampton just under a minute apart to tie the game at 6-all with 11:22 left.  After over six minutes of scoreless action, the Spartans scored seven of the last eight goals of the game to take the win.

Hampton (1-6) will close out its season on Saturday at noon hosting New Jersey Institute of Technology at Armstrong Stadium.
