NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Feb. 7, 2026) … The Hampton University men's tennis team fell to CNU Saturday afternoon 6-1 in their first match of the season.

Freshman Tshion Fedorov recorded his first career singles win for Hampton, defeating Vincent Truong of CNU 7-5, 6-2 to garner Hampton's lone win on the match. 

Aryan Arora fought hard in the #5 singles slot for the Pirates, pushing Gabe Smith to three sets, but ultimately fell just short 4-6, 6-3, 10-4.
