HAMPTON, Va. (Feb. 17, 2026) … The Hampton University men's and women's tennis teams are back in action Wednesday, when they cross the tunnel to take on rival Norfolk St for a 10:00 a.m. start. 

Hampton's men's team enters the match Wednesday after dropping their last match to Navy 6-1. Aryan Arora was a bright spot for the Pirates winning his singles match 7-6 (9-7), 6-3 at line five. In doubles, Kohei Konishi and Tshion Fedorov pushed their match to the brink, before falling 7-5. 

The women's team returns to action after opening their season with a 4-0 loss to Ole Miss. Melis Sakiroglu and Samira Khazieva were both even in the second set of their matches before being unfinished due to the Rebels taking the match 4-0.

The men's team returns to action Friday, Feb. 19 when they travel to James Madison University for a 2:00 p..m. match, while the women take the court at home Feb. 28, when they take on Longwood.
