Softball Scores Two In Ninth To Top St. Bonaventure

Hampton softball comes in the clutch as they defeat the St. Bonaventure Bonnies in extra innings 7-6 on Saturday.
 
The Lady Pirates improved to (6-1) as they defeated the St. Bonaventure Bonnies (0-1)

How it Happened:
  • Pirates beat Bonnies in the bottom of the ninth inning 7-6
  • Kennedi Bedell Scored the first run stealing home on a wild pitch (1-0 Hampton).
  • In the top of the second inning Olivia Whitecar reached on an error which allowed two runs to score (2-1 St. Bonaventure).
  • In the bottom of the second inning Tiera Washington stole second, advancing the runner home on a catcher's error (Hampton ties 2-2).
  • In the top of the 4th inning Madison Stewart hits a home run to make the score (3-2 St. Bonaventure).
  • In the bottom of the 6th inning Emily Kepple hits a two-run double RBI (Hampton ties 4-4).
  • In the top of the 8th inning Kennedy Haberl hits a RBI single leading to a score (St. Bonaventure 5-4).
  • In the bottom of the 8th Casey Walker advances to second on an error allowing Samyah Richardson to score (Pirates 5-5).
