HAMPTON, Va. -- Visiting Elon struck for six first half goals on Sunday afternoon and defeated Hampton 8-0 at the HU Soccer Complex.

Claire Broderup scored the last two goals of the first half for the Phoenix to finish off a three goals in just over 5:30 span to close the first half.   Six different players scored the other goals for Elon (6-1-1).

Hampton held their own being outshot 14-12, but couldnt get one to go by Valentina Estrada.  They're back in action on Wednesday closing the non-conference schedule at East Tennessee State.
