RADFORD, Va. – Nelia Perez scored two goals and assisted on another as homestanding Radford defeated Hampton 4-0 in Big South Conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

Perez assisted on the first goal as she found Gabi Paupst at the 15-minute mark to put the hosts up 1-0.  She tallied the next two goals at 28:01 and 52:04 to push the lead to 3-0, before a goal inside the last minute for the final margin.

Each team recorded seven shots on goal as Maya Andrews recorded three saves for Hampton. Tareya Stokes had three of the seven shots for the Lady Pirates.

Hampton returns home for Senior Day on Saturday against Presbyterian at 2 pm.
