The Short Story: Bradley took advantage of a .302 match hitting percentage, posting 34 kills against just eight errors to finish off Hampton. Bradley received important scoring runs in each set to put the contest away.

BEHIND THE NUMBERS
- This is the second time Hampton has faced Bradley, with the Lady Pirates claiming a five-set victory in 2014.
- Lena Washington led Hampton in digs (11) as well as kills, with eight. Lena Reed-Petracek paced the squad with 27 of HU's 29 assists.
- Bradley took advantage at the net with four players (Erica Haslag, Hannah Thompson, Kathryn Graf, and Kat Poore) all contributing at least five kills while hitting over .250.
- The Braves capitalized on their service game, posting nine aces while holding HU without one during the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first set was tied at nine when Bradley went on a 9-1 run to pull away. The Braves received two aces and two Poore kills in the spurt.
- Bradley jumped out to a 14-4 lead in the second set with six kills accounting for a majority of the scoring outburst.
- Bradley finished the contest on a .571 hitting effort in the third set, putting Hampton away with an early 8-0 run that made the score 14-3.
WHAT'S NEXT
Hampton continues play in the Eagle Challenge Friday at 4:30 p.m. against St. Francis-Brooklyn. HU faces the host school, Morehead State University to conclude tournament play Saturday at 2 p.m.
