IN BRIEF: Host USC Upstate made quick work of Hampton on Saturday afternoon winning 25-18, 25-15, 25-15 in the final road match of the season for the Lady Pirates.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Lily Dempsey and Glorida Ikenegbu topped the hosts with nine kills each, while Mackenzie Lauer added eight.  Madison Haake had 24 assists, while Payton Duncan added a team high 12 digs.
• For Hampton, Megann Delgado recorded a team high 10 kills, while Maja Petronijevic had 10 digs.  Victoria Jenifer was next in kills for Hampton with seven.

Hampton closes out the regular season with a pair of home matches starting at 7pm with Charleston Southern on Friday, Nov. 9 inside Holland Hall.
