HAMPTON, VA. – The Hampton University volleyball team will open Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference action over this weekend as they make a trip to Baltimore for matchups with Morgan State and Coppin State.
The Lady Pirates start at Morgan State on Friday night at 7 pm, while they'll end the weekend at Coppin State on Sunday at 3 pm. Â You will be able to follow live stats of Sunday's match at Coppin State by clicking

Hampton starts MEAC action after going 1-2 at the Patriot Invitational last weekend at George Mason University in Fairfax. The Lady Pirates recorded their first victory of the year with a dramatic five-set win over Loyola University (MD) on September 16.
Reeana Richardson leads the team in kills per set (3.23) and serving aces (9). Freshman
Micah Leavell is second in kills per set (1.74), tied for second in aces (5) and blocks (21).Â
Brianna Lilly leads the team in assists per set (7.51)
Morgan State (0-14) enters the weekend after a 3-0 loss at VCU on September 17. Natashia Barker leads Morgan in kills per set (2.64) with Haley McClure following her at 2.14.
Coppin State (0-14) enters the weekend after going 0-3 at the Morehead State Tournament last weekend. Bailee Jackson leads Coppin in kills per set (2.81) and followed by Guro Froberg at 2.12.
Hampton will play its first home matches of the season next weekend starting with a 6pm match on September 30 against Delaware State. On October 2 they'll host University of Maryland Eastern Shore at 3 pm.
