HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton University women's soccer team takes to the road again this Sunday heading to Clinton, S.C. to face the Blue Hose of Presbyterian College.
Hampton enters the contest with a record of 0-1-1 after losing on Tuesday 7-0 at VMI. The hosts open their season on Friday against Furman before taking on the Lady Pirates.
Kiley Barnes and
Courtney James each have scored one goal on the season for Hampton. In the net,
Maya Andrews has 13 saves in two games.
Presbyterian finished 2015 with a 6-11-1 overall record and a 2-7-1 mark in Big South Conference play. This year's team has six seniors and four juniors, in addition to six sophomores on a squad that defeated Hampton 10-0 in its only meeting last season.
