HAMPTON, Va. -- The Hampton University men's lacrosse team will return to Armstrong Stadium on Saturday for its final varsity home game of the season, when the Pirates take on NCAA Div. II Ohio Valley University on at 12 p.m.
Hampton (0-3) enters the game off an 18-4 loss to Wagner University on March 10 in Charlottesville, Va. Kendall Sapp leads the team in scoring with four goals and two assists, while Alexander Hudson and Darrel Kidd each have four points.
Hudson has three goals and an assist, while Kidd has two goals and two assists in three games.
Ohio Valley (1-3) comes to Armstrong Stadium off a 13-5 loss to Lake Erie College on Wednesday. Steve Zolezzi, Jr. leads the Fighting Scots in scoring with 18 goals and two assists for 20 points. As a team, the Fighting Scots have scored 35 goals, with Zolezzi accounting for over half of those. Qusarn Caldwell is next with six goals and four assists, while Branden Buck has three goals and a team-high six assists for nine points.
