2012 FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in 20 matches for the Lady Pirates, seeing action in 61 sets… had 185 digs on the season, ranking sixth in the MEAC with 3.03 digs per set… recorded double-digit digs eight times… topped the 20-dig mark twice… had a career-high 21 digs at Norfolk State on Sept. 22… added 20 digs against South Carolina State on Sept. 21… also had six service aces on the season.

GRAFTON HIGH SCHOOL
Spent her freshman and sophomore years on the JV squad… moved up to varsity as a junior… helped the team win Bay Rivers District and Region I titles as a junior, before the team wound up the state Group AA runner-up… was named Second Team All-District as a senior and was named the team’s Defensive MVP.

PERSONAL
Born March 19, 1994… daughter of Virginia and Claude Sours… has one brother, Sean (20)… mother Virginia is a graduate of Hampton University… currently undecided about her major… wants to pursue a military career in dermatology.
