Played in 91 sets in 28 matches for the Lady Pirates… a force on both sides of the ball… second on the team in kills (210), third in serve aces (23), fourth in blocks (31) and fourth in digs (116)… averaged 2.31 kills per set, recording a .114 hitting percentage… averaged 0.25 service aces per set… averaged 1.27 digs per set… had a team season high in kills with 23 on Sept. 19 against Winston-Salem State… also had 15 kills against Howard on Oct. 18 and 12 at Morgan State on Oct. 23… had 58 total attempts on Sept. 19 against Winston-Salem State… recorded four service aces at North Carolina Central on Sept. 25 and three at Coppin State on Oct. 11.
SIERRA COLLEGE
Named All-Big 8 both years at Sierra… was named team’s Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore… made Dean’s List both years… led Sierra to a No. 5 ranking in the NorCal region, and a No. 10 ranking in the state of California.
CHRISTIAN BROTHERS HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year volleyball player for Christian Brothers… named MVP as a freshman… named All-Conference Second Team as a senior… won the NorCal Division 4 title her senior year, also finishing runner-up in the state… helped the team take back-to-back San Joaquin Section championships her junior and senior years… also played basketball as a sophomore and junior… was on the track team as a senior.
