2009 R-JUNIOR SEASON
Second Team All-MEAC… played in 11 games for the Pirates, making 10 starts… fourth on the team in tackles with 53, including 20 solo stops… tied his career high with eight tackles (one solo, seven assisted) against North Carolina Central… also had seven tackles each at Norfolk State (five solo, two assisted) and at Winston-Salem State (two solo, five assisted)… also led the team and the MEAC with 7.5 sacks… recorded two sacks each at North Carolina A&T and at Norfolk State… led the team with 16.0 tackles for loss on the season.
2008 R-SOPHOMORE SEASON
Started in all 11 games for the Pirates… sixth on the team in tackles with 41 on the season… recorded 14 solo tackles and 27 assisted efforts… recorded a career-high eight tackles (one solo, seven assisted) in a loss to Winston-Salem State… recorded seven tackles (one solo, six assisted) against North Carolina A&T… also had seven tackles (five solo, two assisted) in the season-ending win at Morgan State… recorded 2.5 sacks on the season… recorded seven tackles for a loss on the season, including 1.5 against Winston-Salem State for a loss of eight yards… forced one fumble and registered three quarterback hurries on the season.
2007 R-FRESHMAN SEASON (SOUTH FLORIDA)
Recorded four tackles, including two for a loss, on the season for South Florida… pressured the quarterback three times… knocked down 15 passes… had one carry as a running back on offense, gaining 16 yards.
2006 FRESHMAN SEASON (SOUTH FLORIDA)
Redshirted for the Bulls.
GRIMSLEY HIGH SCHOOL
A first team all-state player at defensive end as named by NCPreps.com... had 17.5 sacks in his senior year for a defense that led the way to a 14-2 record and a Class 4A state finals appearance... had 98 tackles... two-year starter and a three-year letterman... played in North Carolina’s East-West All-Star Game for the West... ran a 4.6 40-yard dash and 11.8 100-meter dash in summer combine.
