Hampton’s Noah Farrakhan Announced to San Antonio Spurs Summer League Roster

HAMPTON, Va. (July 1, 2025) … On Monday afternoon, the San Antonio Spurs announced its Summer League roster. Hampton's Noah Farrakhan is one of 18 players on the Spurs summer roster.

Before joining the Pirates ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. Farrakhan had spent a season at Big 12 Conference member West Virginia. During his year with the Pirates, the Newark, N.J. native averaged a team-high 14.2 points per game. Farrakhan achieved this feat on an efficient 43 percent shooting from the field, which was the 10th best in the Coastal Athletic Association. The graduate student finished in double figures on 21 separate occasions during the 2024-25 campaign.

He would be named the HBCU All-Stars Independent Player of the week four times throughout the season. Farrakhan also claimed another in-season award, being selected to the Cayman Islands Classic All-Tournament Team. During the three-game stretch in the Cayman Islands, he averaged 21 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, leading Hampton to a victory over Duquesne.

With his performances on the court, Hampton finished the 2024-25 campaign above the .500 mark for the first time since the 2018-19 season. Farrakhan was also named to the All-CAA Third Team, marking the third time a Pirate received postseason conference honors since Hampton joined the league in 2022.

The Spurs summer team will be coached by Mike Noyes, who joined San Antonio's staff last season. San Antonio will begin their summer schedule this Saturday, July 5, at the California Classic against the Miami Heat at 4:40 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. CT. Fans can view the contest on FanDuel Southwest.

After San Antonio wraps up the California Classic on July 8, the team will head to the NBA 2k26 Summer League from July 10-17.
