JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 29, 2025) … The first of three Hampton University women's outdoor track and field athletes hit the track at the NCAA East Regionals on Thursday afternoon as senior Jordan Mozie competed in the first round of the 800 meters at the University of North Florida.

She ran a 2:07.27 to finish sixth in her heat and 35^th overall. A top three finish in her heat would advance her to a quarterfinal race on Saturday evening.

On Saturday afternoon, sophomore Rochele Solmon and junior Damali Williams will compete in the discus that is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
