HAMPTON, Va. (Oct. 30, 2025) … The Hampton University men's tennis team is set to host the Pirate Hidden Duals Friday Oct. 31-Nov. 2 with all matches at Neilson-Screen Tennis Stadium. The duals field consists of the Pirates, North Carolina Central, Norfolk St., Morgan St. and Longwood. 

Hampton will begin action Friday after not competing since the River City Open on Oct. 3-5. Freshman, Tshion Fedorov was a standout in the event, putting together a perfect 3-0 singles record, while also adding a doubles win. Rafael Padilha posted a perfect 2-0 record in doubles to help pace the Pirates. Overall, Hampton recorded a 7-7 singles record, and 3-1 in doubles. 

The pair of Kohei Konishi and Fedorov have been excellent in doubles this fall, posting a record of 4-1, with their lone loss coming in the River City Open.
