HAMPTON, VA. – The Hampton University volleyball team will host Howard University on Friday night at 6 pm at Holland Hall in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Northern Division matchup.
Hampton enters the match with a 3-12 overall record and a 2-2 mark in MEAC Northern action. Freshman
Micah Leavell is tenth in attack percentage in MEAC matches at a .337 clip. Sophomore
Reeana Richardson is fourth in kills per set (4.25) and points per set (4.72). Junior
Summer Humes is ranked in aces per set (4
th/0.62) and senior
Brianna Lilly is third in assists per set at 10.12.
Howard has the best record in all of the MEAC as they enter the weekend with a 14-5 mark and a perfect 4-0 MEAC Northern Division record. Khalia Donaldson is among the conference leaders in kills and points and Tamia Dockery is amongst the league leaders in assists to pace the Bison.
Hampton will finish off this four-match homestand a week from Friday as they face Norfolk State University at 6 pm in Holland Hall.
