HAMPTON, Va. -- After winning a pair of MEAC weekend matches for the first time in two years last weekend, the Hampton volleyball team will conclude its regular-season with three matches on the road starting on Sunday at league-leading Howard.

The Bison scored a 29-27, 25-15, 25-17 win over Hampton on October 7 at Holland Hall.  In that matchup Reeana Richardson had 13 kills, Micah Leavell had 11 kills and seven digs to lead Hampton.

Hampton (5-15, 4-5) is fourth in hitting percentage (.152), fifth in assists (9.72/set), kills (10/49/set) and blocks (1.62/set).  Individually, Leavell is ranked fifth in the MEAC in attack percentage (.273) and tenth in kills per set (2.61).  Richardson is fifth in the MEAC in kills per set at 3.26, while Kyndall Nicholas is fifth in blocks per set at 0.83.

Howard (19-5, 8-0) leads the MEAC in hitting percentage (.225), opponents hitting percentage (.134), assists (11.7/set), kills (12.65/set) and blocks (2.1/set).  Individually, Khalia Donaldson leads the Bison in hitting percentage (.228) with Courtney Dalton right behind her at .222.   Donaldson leads the MEAC in kills per set with 4.05, while Tamia Dockery leads the conference in assists per set at just under ten.

The Lady Pirates will close out the regular season on November 4 at Delaware State and November 6 at Norfolk State.
