A 2020 graduate of Hampton, Uche White-Thorpe returns to his alma mater as the Director of Sales and Service. White-Thorpe.
White-Thorpe spent five years working in sales in the professional ranks before coming to Hampton. He began his career as a sales intern with the New York Islanders from 2020-21. He moved to the New Jersey Devils in 2021 as a sales associate.
A year later, he moved to the Detroit Pistons as a group sales account executive for the NBA franchise. After three years with the Pistons, he returned to Hampton where he is responsible for Hampton Pirates Sports Properties in conjunction with the department’s partner PlayFly Aspire.
The Danville, N.J. native, earned a bachelor of science degree from Hampton in Kinesiology in 2020.
