Brian Jenkins was named Hampton’s Director of Football Operations/Video Coordinator in June 2023. He is responsible for a host of activities and works as an administrative assistant for the Pirates. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native came to Hampton after spending a year with the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings. With the Vikings, he served as the Teams Operations Associate and Personnel Operations Associate. His duties with the team included assisting with logistics, working with the NFL Combine, the 2023 NFL Draft, analyzing free agents, and attending college pro days. Prior to his time with the Vikings, Jenkins spent 2021-22 as the track & field director of operations at Minnesota after spending a year as an account executive with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has also worked in guest relations and client services with the Carolina Panthers and as a recruiting services intern with Nike.
Jenkins played for the Aggies before transitioning as an offensive quality control coach for the team. He assisted in breaking down film, analyzing opponents, and assisting with the preparation of the team’s offensive game plan. He also coordinated prospect camps, recruiting visits, team travel, and the team’s equipment purchases. During his time as a player at North Carolina A&T, the Aggies won four Celebration Bowl titles and four MEAC league championships.
A 2019 graduate of North Carolina A&T where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
