Women's Basketball Releases 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

HAMPTON, Va. (Aug. 31, 2026) … The Hampton University women's basketball team announced its 2026-27 non-conference slate on Monday morning with a few new faces in with several returning opponents. Game times will be announced at a later date.
Hampton opens its season with a two-game swing through Texas as on Nov. 2 they'll visit the Fertitta Center to face the Houston Cougars. From there, it'll head to Dallas for a matchup against Atlantic Coast Conference member SMU on Nov. 5.
Head Coach Tamisha Augustin's squad returns to the Convocation Center for a two-game stint as they'll open the home schedule facing the Apprentice School on November 9 and then tangle with Norfolk State in the Battle of the Bay on Nov. 14.
A four-game road stretch awaits the Pirates as they'll head to High Point (Nov. 16), Delaware (Nov. 22), Winthrop (Nov. 30) and start December heading to Washington, D.C. for the Battle of the Real HU at Howard on the fourth.
Following a break for exams, the Pirates return to the home floor facing Saint Francis (Pa.) on Dec. 14 and then will head to Miami to face former MEAC rivals North Carolina Central and Morgan State in the Florida International Tournament over Dec. 18-19.
As previously announced, the CAA schedule will begin on New Year's Day when they visit N.C. A&T.
