Emmitsburg, Md. (Aug. 15, 2024) - The 2024 season begins with a 4-0 loss on the road to Mount St. Mary's at Waldron Family Stadium. The Lady Pirates allowed two quick goals in the first half but continued to create opportunities throughout the contest. The Mountaineers were able to build upon their lead producing two more goals in the final 45 minutes.

In the opening minutes of the match, Mount St. Mary's leading goal scorer from the 2023 season Luisangely Navas, scored the first goal of the match. After giving up the opening goal, the Lady Pirates started to challenge the Mountaineers. Hampton was able to keep possession in the attacking half.
