The Hampton University indoor track and field teams had a very busy weekend participating in three meets. They ran at Harvard and Boston University, while some team members ventured to Liberty for the Darius Dixon Memorial.
Women in Boston – 17th
Both track teams will participate in the VMI Winter Relays this weekend starting on Friday in Lexington.

Women in Boston – 17th
- Meshala Morton (24.60) and Jaelen Leonard (24.81) each ran qualifying time for ECAC in the 200
- Eusila Chepkemei ran 2:12.95 in the 800 to qualify for ECAC
- Mallory Pitchford ran 8.78 in 60 hurdles to qualify
- Jaelen Leonard, Meshala Morton, Autumn Smith and Sashana Hinds ran 3:46.85 in the 4x4 for qualify
- Brenan Garrett was eighth in 60 6.99
- Moffat Wanjiru was eighth in 200 21.61 to qualify for IC4A
- Jaelen Williams took third in 400 47.41; Jerrick Powell was 12th 48.41 and Justin Beatty was 13th 48.53
- Stanley Davis qualified in 800 1:52.18
- 4x4 won 3:09.34 – Brenan Garrett, Jerrick Powell, Moffat Wanjiru, Jaelen Williams
- Meshala Morton took sixth in the 60 meters – 7.52 to qualify for ECAC
- Eusila Chepkemei took third in the mile in 5:05.99
- Autumn Smith was second in 60 hurdles in 8.63 to ECAC qualify
- Jaelen Leonard was tops in the long jump with a leap of 5.99M (19-8) to qualify for ECAC
- Moffat Wanjiru was second in 60 meters in 6.79 to qualify for IC4A
- Stanley Davis was second in mile in 4:28.44
- Jerrick Powell was second in long jump in 7.12M (23-4.5) to qualify for IC4A
- Jaelen Williams was sixth in long jump in 6.76M (22-2 1/4)
- Kaitlin Scott was eighth in 500 meters – 1:21.89
- Kylie McMillan was third in 60 hurdles – 8.60
- Kameryn Trussell, NIyah Carpenter, DeVonya Brown and Kayla Key took ninth in the 4x400 relay – 4:08.04
- Kaitlin Scott, Kylie McMillan, Silvia Zerbini, Crystal Eley took third in the shuttle hurdle relay – 35.95
- Trey Clark was second in 60 meters – 6.99
- Geoffrey McCullough was ninth in 800 meters – 1:55.74
- Khalil Gary, Geoffrey McCullough, Emmanuel Too, Tayvon Burris was sixth in the 4x400 relay – 3:22.31
- Geoffrey McCullough, Khalil Gary, Tayvon Burris, Emmanuel Too was second in distance medley relay – 10:15.15
- Desmond Lindsey was fifth in high jump – 1.99M (6-6.25)
- Isaac Arriola was sixth in triple jump – 14.12M (46-4)
- Joshua Hunter was 11th in shot put – 14.16M (46-5.5) and 10th in weight throw – 14.31M (46-11.5)
